About Us

Herald Electronics has been a leading provider of electronic manufacturing services for over 20 years and has formed many long standing partnerships with a variety of companies across a wide range of business sectors.

We have tripled our turnover over the last 3 years from £3m and over this period doubled our workforce to 90 people.

Work force stability, length of service and engineering experience have crystallised to give herald several key advantages over its competitors:

    • Herald’s customer facing engineers are able to advise and assist clients to develop a better product, a service that is very much appreciated by up-and-coming enterprises.
    •

    • Our product testing skills and resources are exceptional for a business the size of Herald and give a high level of assurance especially for safety critical parts and embedded technology.

Those particular skills and capabilities position the company as an ideal partner for enterprises seeking a manufacturer of ‘low’ volume niche products at a proof of concept stage of development and then later in full production.

Herald is often referred to as a small ‘large company’. Because it is relatively small, has a flat management structure and inbuilt capabilities Herald is quick to respond to clients with the technical and engineering self-confidence of a large company. By exploiting that advantage Herald has created a manufacturing service company that can ‘build in customer advantage’.

Herald with its relatively low cost base and high engineering capability is well positioned in a market where budding or divesting companies in telecommunications, defence, medical and home land security are seeking a UK box-builder that is financially and technically reliable and is committed and dedicated to deliver what they have promised.
